Tyler’s journey into leathercraft began not in a workshop, but with an appreciation for someone else’s.
While living in Fort Worth, Texas, Tyler discovered the work of Daniel Wright of W Durable Goods. He was drawn not only to Daniel’s leather goods, but to the craftsmanship behind them—the kind of pieces that felt timeless, intentional, and made to stay with you for years.
When Tyler later moved back to Oklahoma City, he found himself searching for leather goods with that same character and couldn’t quite find what he was looking for. So, he decided to learn how to make them himself.
Tyler is the first leatherworker in his family, but what keeps him connected to the craft is the idea of legacy. He believes the things we own can carry meaning—that a well-made leather piece can age alongside its owner, collect marks from a life well lived, and eventually be passed from one generation to the next.
Inspired by the craftsmanship that first stopped him in his tracks in Fort Worth, Tyler now creates pieces with the same intention: made slowly, made with purpose, and made to last.
